Installation of 150 piles & interlocking sheet piles for land reclamation to provide a base to construct a new skyscraper.
Scope of works
SJS were contacted to provide a team of two engineers to provide setting out for a very difficult job. This involved the setting out of marine piles to high accuracy using very large plant, barges, gates & frames. Along with this we were also required to install site control, provide monitoring, design solutions, phasing & problem solving.
Three Mills River Stratford

Construction of a new river wall consisting new interlocking sheet piles.
Scope of works
SJS were contracted to provide daily monitoring of the installed sheet piles on three mills river and existing structures, this was kept up to date daily with a spreadsheet. Along with this the job required extensive setting out in difficult locations. Three mills river required many surveys to check designs and create adaptions and solutions for clashes.
